  • Points of NoteThis rare 1970 Porsche 914-6 is matching numbers. Originally from California the car has recently been brought to Australia.
    Recently fully restored it has only travelled some 3,000 miles since restoration.
    Upgrades to the existing 2.0 litre motor include bringing the capacity up to 2.2 litre and S specs, which means different compression and camshafts. The engine now puts out approximately 180bhp compared to the standard 130bhp.
    The engine is mated to its original 901 dogleg 5 speed gearbox that also benefited from a rebuild.
    All the glass is original to the car, and includes a very rare rear window defroster.
    All the fuchs wheels are date matched (rare) and this includes the spare.
    Sold with excellent documentation of the work carried out during the restoration and service history, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this car is a desirable Porsche for any collector or enthusiast.
